That was until my cat decided it was her new bed and kept sleeping in said basket. Not wanting my scarves to smell like kitty fur, I had to find a new way.
I've seen them hung on hangers.

It's easy to pick the right color for any outfit quickly.
And when I'm done wearing one, I just tie it right back onto the rod and it's ready for next time.
How do you organize your scarves?
Happy Organizing!
What I want to know is how you (and I) accumulated so many scarves to begin with! We are nuts. Ha :)
ReplyDeleteI tried the shower hooks on a hanger a while back and that does not work. They all slide to one end. I bought two of those solid scarf hangers (has holes all over for each scarf) and that does okay except I am running out of holes. I've been wanting to try what you've executed........... but I may have to move some of Dan's stuff ;)
P.S. We should do a scarf swap some night with a bunch of ladies. I have a few I never wear......... and maybe even a duplicate!
Oooooh a scarf swap! I like that idea. I wear most of mine but there are a few I don't.
DeleteI used the hanger idea. My cats think it's fun to play with the dangling strings some of the scarfs have. I've got to find a new place. I am thinking of tucking them away this year in a box & next year finding a hook to place them on for access ~ I love your idea though! It would be a great idea for me if my cats didn't take over my closet. Love that you color coordinated them! <3, Amy
ReplyDeleteThat's so funny because my cat (who usually messes with anything tempting) hasn't bothered my scarves like this. She's also left our Christmas tree alone this year, which is crazy!
DeleteI'm really here to appreciate that you are a good blogger!!!
